I had to go to Liverpool and spend the night so I caught my old friend the 07.24 from Littleborough which, as luck would have it, goes all the way to Lime Street. I say as luck would have it because I made the journey the day before and had cross Manchester to Piccadilly…and what a bind that is!

But the two-car diesel which forms that service, really is a disgrace. I don’t what this model is but the layout of three and two seats is a disgrace.

But what is worse is the fact that half the train - one which is regularly leaving passengers behind because they can’t get on - is taken up with a cycle rack!

Northern are adopting a cycling policy. I have told Heidi Mottram that I can save her time and give her a cycling policy

 BAN THEM!!!!!
