Crains (2)
02/02/2009 by admin.
Sorry to have a go at Crains Manchester Business again…
This morning (Monday) my edition pops through the letter box with a splash which says Greater Manchester Councils are considering a workplace parking levy. There is a leader inside saying what a scandal it all is.
The trouble is the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities met on Friday and rejected the idea out of hand. I was there, the BBC was there, the M.E.N. was there. No-one from Crains was there.
Presumably, Crains went to press on Friday and therefore was not in a position to report the result. Fair enough, we have all got to go to press sometime.
BUT WE DON’T GO OVER THE TOP ON A STORY WHICH MIGHT NOT HAPPEN AND MAKE US LOOK VERY SILLY!
