In praise of British Waterways
03/02/2009 by admin.
Who is the toughest man in the UK?
I don’t know his name but I can tell you that he works for British Waterways. There is a team working on one of the lock gates on the Rochdale Canal at Littleborough….working through all the snow and arctic temperatures. But lets all hail just one of the team. His job?
….to jump into the lock to fix something on the bottom edge of the lock gate!!!!!
